How this tier list works
Our tiers combine current role value, rarity information, and how easily a unit fits into a useful four-slot formation. They are an editorial aid, not official rankings or a promise that one unit will win every matchup. New and recently added units remain unranked until there is enough confidence to place them.

S tier: premium frontline
Immortal and Spartan are versatile defensive anchors in the current database. Samurai and Berserker also occupy S tier but are described as more specialized or aggressive. The low tracked pull chances make them difficult targets, so avoid treating them as prerequisites for progress.
A tier: role-defining options
Crossbowman provides focused ranged damage, while Scout Rider supplies mobility. These two units are valuable because they cover jobs that a frontline-heavy roster otherwise lacks. Scout Rider's higher tracked chance can make it a practical formation tool rather than merely a consolation pull.
B and C tiers: usable foundations
Mercenary, Spearman, and Shieldman are early frontline fillers. Their value comes from letting you establish a screen while you build the rest of the roster. Archer gives starter ranged coverage. Replace these units when the upgrade clearly improves the same job or allows a stronger formation—not simply when a rare name appears.
New units: wait for evidence
Flaming Archers, Halberder, and Imperial Halberder are marked as new in the current tracker. Until their chances and performance are confirmed, they remain unranked. This avoids presenting speculation as settled advice.
How to use the list
- Identify the missing role in your current squad.
- Compare units within that role, not across unrelated jobs.
- Check whether the rarity and resource cost are realistic for your account.
- Test one replacement at a time in actual matches.
