Morningstar evolution
Morningstar is reported as Mace’s four-star evolution in Update 3. Develop the relevant Mace, inspect its Evolve requirements and confirm the resulting form; do not confuse account level with the unit’s Mastery.

The reported route
The Click’s Morningstar guide describes Mace → Morningstar, using unit Mastery level 20 as the evolution gate. Confirm that condition and any additional live cost on the selected copy. This page does not invent a Gem amount or promise that every older screenshot reflects today’s interface.
Prepare the right copy
- Search the inventory for the Mace you intend to develop.
- Record its unit Mastery and progression state.
- Inspect cleanup settings so you do not discard a needed copy.
- Read the current evolution preview before committing resources.
A returning player may already have useful progress on an older Mace. Check that before starting another acquisition project. Keep the identity of the developed copy clear if your inventory contains several similar cards; a level requirement belongs to the troop, not just to your account.
Evolve and Ascend answer different questions
Evolution changes the named form along a route. Ascension develops a copy within its progression system. Neither word should be treated as a generic upgrade button. Read the action title and resulting preview before confirming. If a duplicate-consuming action is required, check which copies will be used and whether that is the operation you intended.
Before accepting the transformation

A new form can change the practical shape of an army even when the route is straightforward. Review the full formation before paying for further development. This is especially useful if the troop takes a different share of your equipment budget.
After evolution
Test the resulting copy in the same job you used Mace for, with the other slots unchanged. Record what improves and what still fails. Can the Battle Pass replace this route? The cited coverage identifies evolution as the route. Does level 20 guarantee the button is ready? Inspect all live requirements rather than assuming there are no other conditions. Is Morningstar always the best fourth slot? That needs comparable gameplay, not only a new rarity label.
