Auto Delete guide
Auto Delete was reported with Update 3 as an inventory-cleanup feature. Inspect its current filters before summoning, especially if you need Mace or Pikeman for a new evolution. A rarity label alone is a poor keep-or-delete rule.

Why the setting needs a review
Update 3 coverage reports Auto Delete alongside new evolution routes. That combination matters: a troop you previously considered surplus can become the start of a useful project. Review the current roster before carrying forward an old cleanup configuration. This guide does not assume a recovery option exists for a deleted copy.
Build a keep list first
- Troops in the army you currently equip.
- The exact copies carrying progression you intend to preserve.
- Base forms required for an evolution you plan to pursue.
- Duplicates needed for a currently displayed upgrade condition.
- A small set of alternatives you actively use for different situations.
This is a decision list, not a description of available filter toggles. The live interface determines whether protection is by name, rarity or another rule. If the available filter cannot represent your keep list, leave that broader deletion rule off rather than pretending it is precise.
Check before the next summon session
- Review the active cleanup criteria and any explanatory text.
- Compare the criteria with the keep list.
- Inspect how the rule treats Mace and Pikeman if those routes matter to you.
- Keep deletion disabled for categories where the result is ambiguous.
- After an ordinary summon, review the result and inventory before continuing.
Do not purchase extra summons solely to test a deletion filter. Use results you were already planning to obtain. If a copy disappears unexpectedly, stop the session and review settings instead of making the same decision repeatedly.
Revisit filters after updates
New Morningstar and Phalangite routes are concrete reasons to review older rules. Future updates can add another route or change the troop you want to develop. A routine inventory check should consider planned upgrades as well as today’s equipped army.
Deletion is not an upgrade strategy
Cleanup reduces the collection you have to review; it does not decide which unit should be trained or how an army should be arranged. Keep those decisions separate. A tidy inventory can still be missing the troop required for your next progression goal. Identify the goal before removing the apparent surplus.
If you are uncertain whether a duplicate matters, inspect the relevant progression prompt first. The Skill Tree guide covers a different resource decision and should not be used as evidence that duplicates are unnecessary. We do not provide an “always delete these rarities” preset because account goals and live routes differ.
