Skill Tree guide
Update 3 coverage describes a separate Skill Tree for each unit, funded with Skill Crystals. Review a troop’s available nodes and the current reset prompt before committing; this guide does not invent a universal best branch.

What the tree changes
The Click’s Skill Tree report describes unit-specific branches and a reset control. Skill Tree spending is a different decision from acquiring the troop or changing its evolved form. A shared rarity does not imply shared nodes. Start with the copy you use and read its actual tree rather than following a build intended for another unit.
Choose a job before a node
Write a sentence describing what this troop must do for your army. For example: hold the first contact long enough for another slot to contribute, or maintain damage while protected. That sentence is your evaluation rule. Read each available effect against it. An upgrade you cannot connect to a repeated match problem is a weak first purchase, even if its description sounds impressive.
| Your observation | Question to ask before upgrading |
|---|---|
| Troop falls before support arrives | Does this node address the survival problem? |
| Troop survives but contributes little | Does this effect improve its actual battlefield job? |
| Troop seldom makes the final lineup | Should you keep the crystals unspent? |
Build a crystal budget
List the currency you have, the nodes you can currently reach and one alternative use. The Skill Crystal guide separates one-time codes from recurring sources. You do not need to exhaust your balance when you first open the tree. Keeping a reserve is useful while you decide whether a new troop belongs in your regular lineup.
Inspect the route beyond a node before confirming. A cheap early choice can commit you to a path you would not otherwise want. Record the selected branch and cost so a later comparison is understandable.
Resetting without guesswork
The cited release coverage describes a Gem cost in the reset interface. Read today’s confirmation to learn the current price and what is refunded; do not assume either is fixed. Prepare the replacement path before resetting. If you are unsure whether evolution preserves a tree, check the relevant confirmation instead of relying on a general rule from an older troop.
A practical upgrade cycle
- Pick one troop you already field frequently.
- Record its current progression and the problem you want to solve.
- Buy a relevant reachable upgrade only after reading its effect and cost.
- Test with the other slots unchanged, then decide whether to continue.
This is an editorial testing method, not a claim that one build wins every matchup. Revisit the plan after meaningful balance changes or after the unit’s role in your army changes. A settled formation provides a better reason to invest than a new card’s rarity alone.
